The state portal, listed at DevCarnival
The Tech Pavilion page for TNEBooks describes the state portal at tnebooks.tn.gov.in . That listing says the portal is managed by the Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Services Corporation. It gives students, teachers, and competitive-exam aspirants free digital textbooks, teacher handbooks, and supplementary material from Class 1 to Class 12, in Tamil and English.
The same page describes a portal built for a slow connection: light PDF and ePub viewers, search in Tamil and English down to a chapter, and QR codes that connect a printed textbook to audio-visual material. It states a reach of more than 6 million students in Tamil Nadu schools.
